Not very good
We ordered this bike for my daughter's 2nd birthday as it was advertised as aged from 18 months +. It is too large for her although she is not really small for her age.

The other problem with it is the front wheel which is badly buckled as one of the spokes is loose. I spent ages trying to get the front brake to work properly before discovering this.

We can't give a report on how it works as I will have to take the front wheel to a cycle shop first, and my daughter will have to grow a bit.

I don't know whether my daughter is smaller than the average two year old but I had to put stabilisers on the bike so she could ride it,she loves it though so hopefully should be able to take them off soon, the bike is well made.

Impressive seat
I have a rear seat, purchased for our eldest, which never really got used. Partly because it was fitted to an old bike and I'd much rather ride my new bike, partly because I didn't like how it affected the balance of the bike, and partly because it meant he was hidden behind me. When I discovered that I could now get a front fitting seat, that would fit my new (full suspension) mountain bike I had to give it a go with our latest arrival.

Fitting the bar to the bike, whilst straightforward, was a little fiddly, especially due the size/shape of my bike's head tube. I found it tricky to position the bracket such that the finish of the bike wasn't damaged, I even took an angle grinder to the bar to take off some of the sharp edges. I should point out that I don't think this would be necessary for most bikes/frames, and it should be an easy 5 minute job. Once the bar is fitted to the bike it's just a matter of screwing on the seat - with a special hand fastened safety screw...

Best Child Bike Seat Available
In my opinion this is the best bike seat available for attaching to an adult bike. It mounts to the frame of the bike and your child then sits directly in front of you facing forwards. We now have two of these - one for our 2.5yr old daughter and one for our 1yr old son (his only arrived today, so we haven't been out with him yet, but if he loves it as much as our daughter, it will be great).

The seat itself is comfy and is pretty easy to fit to the bike. We have a gents mountain bike & a ladies mountain bike and the seats fit easily to both. They do come with an attachment that you can see on the picture that is intended as some sort of arm/head rest for the child, but we haven't bothered with that for our daughter as she prefers to hold onto the bikes handlebars. Me may try it for our son with him being that bit younger.

Can't wait for us all to get out on the bikes together!

Sore legs
I'm not too sure what to make of this chair yet. I have used it about 10 times with my 16 month old over the summer, he likes it, but not on days where its breezy as he does not like the wind directly in his face. I am a fit cyclist and find that having to have my legs slightly open is using a whole lot of different muscles - and it hurts! When I looked at the reviews before buying I did not notice this mentioned, so thought it was worth me noting it. If I had my time again I would go for a traditional behind the rider one, this would save all the wind in my sons face too.

The freedom of the open road
We brought this bike seat for our daughter and we all love it. She is able to ride up front and see where she is going and we can see her and know she is safe and happy. It is very sturdy and feels very secure on the bike. It is fitted to her Dads bike and he says that it doesnt make him off balance at all (as I have heard some rear seats can). I have recommend it to a friend who is also thrilled with it, they have purchased an extra bike attachment so that they can change the seat from bike to bike very easily (think we may purchase another so that we can also do this). An excellent, fun and safe purchase.

Excellent
Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this seat, I cannot rate it highly enough. I've taken my 20 month old daughter in it about 6 times so far and she loves it. She's fallen asleep on it once and she had quite a good sleep so it must be comfortable! It doesn't affect your balance when riding which I was scared of, and I wouldn't say it changes your style of riding much either. As other people say you do tend to ride with your knees out a bit but you soon forget your doing it. Fitting the bar is definitely a 2 man (or woman) job and can be a bit fiddly but definitely worth it. I have recommended this seat to all my friends with toddlers and will continue to do so. I think it's amazing and well worth the money.

great fun
This truly is an amazing child seat. Put it together in 20 mins, very easy to do, even with a 2 year old trying to help. The moment my daughter sat on this she loved it. We have had many rides together on this and it is great to be able to talk to her, describe things to her, she even points to things now and has learnt to put her hand out when we go right/left. I'm so glad i got this as i wouldn't have wanted her to be sat behind me with no communication. One thing she does do though is rub her hands up and down my legs whilst we are riding which puts a smile on my face :-) Well worth the investment.

BEST SEAT FOR KIDS
I have just bought my second Weeride.
I am now using with my second child, and my first child is still in the seat on his fathers bike at just over 4.
Not sure how the 2.8 year old below couldnt fit in, as my son is on 98%ile on NHS scale.
When I first bought I was worried about size as it looks small, but as the company give a money back guarantee if they dont fit at 4, I stuck with it.
And I was glad I did. Sizing is no issue and it is so much fun.
It attaches to the bike frame and not the handlebars so feels so much safer.
And I much prefer having my kids in front of me.
Its not cheap, but worth it for 3 years use.

QUALITY
Bought a seat for my 2 year old and VERY IMPRESSED.
It is built extrememly well. I have a manufacturing background and your kid is in no danger in this seat.
It is quality platics in the shell so stays firm, the padding is excellent quality even though I went for the basic model, and the bar is rock solid.
It makes the whole unit feel very secure and safe.
But the best part is being able to chat to my little boy when we go out.
I wish I had bought a year ago.

This one also is metal, so it doesn't look too much like a balance bike or little child-ish, which the wooden ones do. He found it easy to use, I think being used to a scooter may help. A great bike, well made, smooth quick release sections, well thought out. A bit on the heavy side when attached to a racer but at least it's nice a stable! The Weeride co pilot tag along trailer arrived exactly when i had been told it was so was worth the extra money for the express delivery (no hanging around to be done). Set up the tag along this morning, found it very easy to set up, instructions straight forward and packaging brilliant. Which was good as i am single mum who finds mechanics and reading instructions difficult. So within an hour my 4 yr old (soon to be 5) was enjoying a bike ride with me, soon followed by his 7 year old brother who gave it go. It is noticeable the difference between the 2, the heavier one tended to sway the tag along slightly but it was corrected easily once we all got used to what we needed to do. A brilliant piece of equipment, enabling me and my 2 boys to go on longer bike rides and enjoy the wet bank holiday. I would definitely recommend!
