I have recently bought this 12" bike for my 3yr old . It looks great, but as he is riding it , if the ground is not properly flat the tyre just spins, hes only had it since sunday, (3 days) and the tread is wearing away already! I have had bikes with stabilizers for my other son and we never had this problem b4. i have adjusted the stabilizers to the highest setting and it still happens. A disapointed 3yr old and parents................

Great bike
I bought this for my 2 yr old for xmas 2012. I took a chance when i bought as one had a good review and one had a bad review. I set this up on xmas eve and it was very easy. You only get the spinning of wheels if you have set the stabilisers up at the same height- you need to have them at a different height- as to wobble a little bit. My son loves it- hasn't quite worked it all out but i Would would still recommend this bike . If i had one gripe it would be its a tight squeeze to get the water bottle in and out but I'm sure we can all live with that.

Father of 3yr old
Fantastic Bike.

This is a well constructed and very smart looking boys first bike. My three year old previously had a slightly small bike with pedals on the front wheel. He is very active and i expected him to be riding that straight away, but with the pedals at the front he could never really get his legs to power it along and didnt bother with it much.
This bike took him about 2hrs to master and then he was away. It has a nice comfortable seat and front & rear brakes. It also has a good strong stabilisers that are easy to adjust.
It comes unassembled and would need a some one with a bit of DIY skill to assemble.
The colour scheme is great and has been complemented on a number of times already.

Poor welding
The company delivered the item promptly and well packaged , when it came to assembly the front wheel brackets on the front forks were 3.5 inches , standard wheel axles are four inches !!! And so was the supplied wheel , we had to 'ease ' them to get a tight fit .
I would normally have sent it back but It wasn't returned as it is my grand daughters birthday shortly and they are going away for a break and I want it for to take with them .

This is a lovely little bicycle for a girl. Very easy to assemble , well packaged and arrived as scheduled.

This one also is metal, so it doesn't look too much like a balance bike or little child-ish, which the wooden ones do. He found it easy to use, I think being used to a scooter may help. I hope that in a few months he can have a bike with pedals and without stabilizers.
