Great trainer tyre
well it definately is BLUE and that is good as you can't accidentally use it on the road.

I used to use an old tyre instead. However this one gives more friction and, surprisingly, does what the manufacturer says...reduces noise.

I have no problem with slip on the trainer.

The only issue i had was a flat. that may have been because i used an old (reapired) tube. Or because i inflated to 125/130 (cold winter outside use). Really you are meant to slightly underinflate by 10psi or more to allow for them to heat up and increase pressure when in use.

I think as well the tubes tend to get caught under the tyre when repalcing...so watch out for that and inflate properly and carefully.

Easy to fit and reduces noise.
I bought this for use on my Tacx Satori. Reason for purchase was because the turbo trainer was wearing out my rear tyre at an alarming rate. The tyre was easy to fit, I put it on my 622 x 15C rim with no problems. I definitely noticed a difference in noise levels after using this turbo trainer specific tyre. Much quieter and also less prone to slipping. Only had for 2 weeks so no long term discoveries, but good so far and I am pleased with the purchase.

You won't regret it
Started back on bikes a year or so ago and during the course of those 12 months lost a tonne of weight, got fit, beefed up and constantly upgraded my Trek. Decided to splurge and got a mid priced full carbon Cube which came with the Ultremos as standard. I was simply blown away by the difference in the ride and decided to see what effect the tyres had over the standard Bontranger ones fitted on the Trek. I switched them over and took the (alluminium) Trek out on my normal 13 mile training route. I ride all my routes with my Garmin so I can map my progress and when I got back I was utterly flabbergasted to see I had knocked off over 3 minutes of my time from when I last rode the route with the Bontrangers on only 3 weeks previous.
My hill climbs on Strava had improved and the ride just felt more...smooth. PSI up at 120 for my size and despite the rough Roubaixesque roads here in Cornwall I didn't have one puncture in 4 months of summer rides from 13miles to the 65 mile...

Year round tyre
My favourite tyre by far, first experiences of it were mixed, I thought they were too soft and tore too easily but that means added grip, they're fast and instantly improved my times on a regular course. I just pick out the stones after a ride and superglue any holes, no punctures at a regular inflation of 100psi.
