Busy Going Nowhere Cycling The Whole Day Through!
I have just had the most weird experience of my life: I have just completed the first 10 miles on my rollers and I can tell you these things are weird and wonderful beyond belief!!!
They were bought because of the other review on this page and a full spread in a recent cycling magazine.
I'm 53 years old, weigh in at 111 kilos so at 5' 9" am still a big bloke but cycling has improved my fitness and health in the last two years beyond recognition: my blood pressure is "textbook" ( my GP's words !) and my cholesterol is 4.0. I can cycle easily 40 to 50 miles around the north Down coast in a day and when I put the hammer down manage 22.5 miles per day.
However, the winter has just kicked in here and last Sunday I was left staring out the window like a big kid with the bottom lip stuck out because the weather was bloody awful. No cycling means miserable Tom. Not good.
The first thing I noticed about this product is the build quality: very impressive. No English...

Antares rollers
This is a very good quality product. It comes flat packed but is easy to assemble in a short time with out specialist tools. As a fitness aid it is a great performer. It took me a little time to work out the balance but once I got going the benefits are there to see. There are videos on you tube that fully explain how to get going, these are very helpful. I cant give a comparisson to other rollers, but cant find any way to fault this one. Just be careful about the build up of static if you work on it for a long time. Make sure your fist contact is not with a metal object.

Very Impressed
I ordered this through amazon which came with in a few days. The item was well packaged and secure. On opening it the turbo trainer was very straight forward and easy to put together.
I am only a novice biker and this is the first turbo trainer I have ever used and quite frankly I'm extremely impressed. I bought this to keep training through the winter months and I tried it out with my mountain bike first, it only took me about a minute to get my bike fixed up and it was very stable and secure. I had a 30 minute session on it and the handle bar resistance adjuster worked fine. There was a bit of noise from the tyre which is to be expected and I think it could get annoying after a while. However I then used my road bike on it and it was very quiet and hardly noticed it, even the wife commented on it's quietness.
So overall I would recommend this to anyone who was looking for a good sturdy turbo trainer, which it's quiet and easy to use at a bargain price

Excellent Product
Bought this product because of what the reviews said, it came within a few days and was easy (for my husband) to set up. I can go anywhere, no matter how far, without leaving my lounge... Brilliant product, I love it! Only thing I will say is be careful of the paintwork on your bike, it does tend to rub a little at the contact points, mines an old bike though, so I didn't mind so much.

CycleOps Classic Mag + Trainer (With Shifter)
Wife loves the machine and I hardly see her now as it's in the garage. Easy to set up and to fit / remove the bike, just the shifter cable is too long and may get in the way. Works great and the shifter gives a good range of workouts with differing speed and power. A little noizy but can always shut the garage door and turn the TV up.

CycleOps Classic Mag +
Works very well indeed , with a wide range of adjustment available. On cold winter days a perfect fix to keep legs and lungs functioning. Only downside is the noise levels which remained high even after switching to a slick tyre on my mountain bike. Good value and well made piece of kit.

Great, strong build and easy to put together
Received the product today and fixed my wheel in to it within minutes. Great product and i would recommend. Only disadvantage to it is the noise, rather noisy when in top gear pedalling hard. Overall Great

Good product
This was really easy to assemble and install the bike in. Comes with a quick release spindle to replace the one on your bike,. I didn't need it though, as my bike's one was the same type. This is a sturdy and well made piece of kit and is really easy to use. Removing the bike for when you want a real ride takes seconds, as does re-installing it. No fancy electronics (speedo, heart monitor etc.) but do you really need them? Well worth the price. Highly recommended. It arrived really quickly after ordering as well. Top marks.

Get the miles in without leaving the house!
Been thinking about buying a turbo for a while and when the wife nearly came off her bike in the wet recently we thought it was about time. Did a bit of research, didn't want to pay a huge amount, so plumped for this and it has been excellent so far. The deal we got with the front wheel stand, DVD and Cannondale water bottle made it an absolute bargain and all the family have been using it. Set up was a bit tricky apparently but fortunately my wife managed it while I was away. Compared with other turbos I've been on it doesn't seem too noisy and gives you a good smooth ride. The five different tension settings give a good variety from easy spinning to really tough climbing. The DVD (which is worth

Great bit of kit, but one or two niggles
I decided to splurge on a Tacx i-Flow after reading other reviews, seeing the pros use them to warm up/down (good enough for them etc) and spending too many afternoons after work staring at the grey skies, beating rain and thinking of the pot holed roads around Cornwall.
There's much written about the poor assembly instructions of the Tacx products, but really it's not that hard. The instructions are fine. Make sure you have the following tools with you: a phillips screwdriver, 10 and 13mm spanner, flat bladed screwdriver (to pry off two end caps) and an allen key.
The rear turbo trainer took 10 minutes to put together and the steering frame a further 20. A good tip is to have the software loading on your PC while you're working.
Once it's all together it really is a good sturdy piece of kit and well made. You'll need to change over your QR skewer on the rear wheel, or if you have one, put the supplied skewer on a spare. The bike fits in really well both front and rear,...

Turbo Trainer
After being recommended this by a friend, saw it on amazon at a very good price, good delivery, instructions not great but easy to build up very sturdy when on the bike...and fairly quiet

Excellent product
Instructions not very clear but once it's put together and it's up and running, it's a great piece of kit. Very strong and well made. Over all very pleased with my purchase.

Pleased i chose this Trainer :)
Ok so i have been watching Le Tour and saw the riders warming up and cooling down on cycle trainers so thought i would do some reserch into them with a view to buy,my bro bought a magnetic one from Wiggle and i saw there were 3 types 1>cyclone/kinetit (wind turbine) 2>a liquid/viscus and 3>magnetic.

After watching reviews on Youtube and reading reviews on the web and Amazon it seemed that the general opinion was that cyclone kinetic was the one that was most similar to normal riding,my next choice was which one and it seemed that average prices were

Really like it
I have had a number of exercise bikes over the years, some okay, some rubbish. Brought brand new one recently that just wasn;t up to any standard. Was looking for something as good as my own mountain bike. So..... started googling and found this. Its great!!!. Okay, it takes up a bit more room and probably a bit noisier as have normal tyres on it, but great and better than any exercise bike I have ever used. Can do spin on it too using an app. Brought a cheap timer that fits on the handle bars and off we go - so to speak. recommended.

Exactly as Described
Sturdy build and stable when in use. The product was described well and it is quiet when being used. Great purchase for indoor training.
