Good buy
Easy to assemble though instructions consisted of only a graphic. Used it the first time today. My bicycle is a Specialized hybrid, so easy to pedal and good balance. The trailer was easy to hitch, and I didn't feel much of a difference pedalling with it empty. Rattled a lot, but this is to be expected with a plastic crate in a metal frame, and one reviewer mentioned this so I wasn't surprised.

I first pedalled about 6km to deliver my husband's lunch, using cycle lanes and wide pavement**. The trailer is fine on cycle lanes, width is about the same as handlebars. I found it surprisingly easy on sharp corners. Wide pavement was likewise fine, even though there were many bumps and uneven bits, and one small part is totally broken up, essentially off-road terrain. It also did amazingly well going down a kerb, and back up the other side, four times in total. Mind, this was with it empty.

I then went to do the week's shopping (most of it, anyway) at Lidl. The trailer...

I purchased this trailer to carry my fishing kit some 3 kms down minor roads, tracks & footpaths along the river Wye near Simonds Yat West where there is little parking or vehicular access. Some of the paths are extremely rough & bumpy and I had no idea how it would handle them. I need not have worried. It is quiet (now), strong, well balanced & carries everything I need &, after one or two minor modifications, with no trouble at all. Most of my kit goes inside the box under the waterproof cover with one or two rods & net pole on top secured with elastic straps to the draw bar handles in front & trailer frame at the back. It remains easy to tow.
My alterations were as follows, first to secure the hitherto loose plastic box inside the frame to stop its terrible head turning rattle. This was achieved with 4 M4 stainless set screws & nylock nuts through holes drilled in the bottom frame members. Being so small any loss of strength is minimal. A fantastic Buy!
The trailer arrived promptly in flat pack form. Looking at the picture on the box and reading the instructions was very simple and I had it assembled in less than half an hour. Took it out for a spin on bike with no problems. The centre wheel pin on the rear bike wheel is really easy to change too. The only criticism I have is that the trailer didn't come with any grease as this is needed for every moving part and the swivel pin as well as the rear wheel quick release pin. I bought a tin of 'quick grease' from poundworld and the trailer is now working great. Took some heavyish rubbish to the recycle plant earlier on varied terrain.....no problems.

Update.....I took the trailer fully loaded on a 175 mile camping trip through Dumfries and Galloway National Park over Easter without any problems at all, it handles well and on the flat and downhill you don't notice its there. The weather was rotten and the trailer performed well. I did notice that my rear bike wheel was chucking...

First impressions
This trailer retails at a price very much below similar products, but favourable reviews here persuaded me that it would be worth trying it out. When I opened the box, I was pleased to see that the components all looked sturdy, and they had all been carefully packed and protected with bubble-wrap. The separate components are: wheel, mudguard, trailer body (folded flat), trailer coupling fork, 2-part flag, and a plastic bag containing two quick-release 'skewers', one for attaching the wheel, and the other for coupling the trailer to the cycle rear wheel axle. Although the instruction sheet mentions two special nuts to replace the latter in the event of the cycle having a solid axle unable to take the skewer provided, they were not present. More of that later. As has been noted elsewhere, the English instruction sheet is truly woeful, and it is fortunate that assembly of the trailer is largely a matter of common-sense. No stress rider
Arrived in good time and i was pleased with the soild build of the trailer. The shower proof canvas body and cover work well to reduce weight. I bought this so i can shop, take things to my local recycling center and short camping trips. The assembly was easy once i read (viewed) the instructions. I am looking for a rain cover to totally water proof it so things do not get soaked in a heavy down poor. Very good build and well worth the money.

When it first arrived I was very pleased - it seemed of good quality and solid for the job.
When I used it I found it very heavy but accepted that as the construction is not aluminium.
Unfortunately it has not lived up to expectations.
After only owning it for 2 months - 8 uses of less than 1 mile each, one of the wheels has become unusable as the tyre has become distorted. It is also beginning to show rust around the joints.
