I was searching for a robust, simple to use and reasonably priced bike rack principally for one adult mountain bike, sometimes two. I relied on the reviews both on Amazon and on other sites and the peruzzo verona came out as the best buy. It arrived very quickly and it is very easy to fit on your own. I have a 3dr ford focus ST hatchback and even with the spoiler it fits easily. I probably wouldn't try more than two bikes on it though as the angle you would need the rack would place a great deal of weight on the rear window. If I had an estate car or say a golf with a vertical boot design the rack would easily hold three bikes. The strapping system is easy to use and tough (but kind to paintwork) with the bike not moving around at all when the car is in motion.
I would recommend this bike rack without hesitation.

I took delivery of this item within 2 days of ordering.Even though delivery was 5-7 days.It took around 30 mins to workout how the rack fitted on my car(Toyota Corolla hatchback)Have used it twice to date and have had no problems.The rack came ready assembled (thankfully)as the instructions were not quite clear.It is lightweight and very sturdy.Had slight problem loading one of my bikes to the frame,due to the cross bar not being straight forward.But after adjusting the fitting,had no further problems.Takes minutes to put on hatch and to remove.Fits in boot with no problem at all.This is an uncomplicated bit of kit with a nice look(unlike similar bike racks for sale at much higher prices from varios high street stores.Highly recommended from a very satisfied customer.

Well ok guys this rack is of excellent quality and build, I've just used this to travel quite a few miles from South Wales to Cornwall without any issues at all, solid solid build, very secure straps, legs and arms..all superb..even though I never bought it from Amazon as it was a massive bargain elsewhere I though I'd give it a awesome review on here. So all I'll say is if you're thinking of getting a bike rack for at least 2 bikes then this should be at the top of your list. I drive a Vauxhall Corsa and a Honda civic new shape and it fits both perfectly. Any questions plz feel free to let me know and I'll help as much as I can.

Excellent product. I found it well made, easy to use, holds the bikes steady to the vehicle (Vauxhall Zafira). Although not the cheapest bike carrier, I am glad I bought this one (after sifting through various reviews).
