Took a chance after searching for weeks - and what a winner I bought. I could have gone for a small, noisy 50cc motor put-put but I don't like wearing a helmet on anything smaller than a 650cc lump. This electric assist bike was at a great price and was received in Spain within 5 working days, half an hour to unpack, half an hour to assemble (battery and tyres arrived properly 'pressurised'), ten minutes to 'acclimatise', then ready to go (wham, bam, thank you ma'am - my sort of purchase). I'm 68 and 6'3" with poor calf and feet blood circulation - and short on breath. I now whizz around my hilly town like a good'un and don't have to stop every 100 metres like when I'm walking. Bike has also been 'tested' by a 12 year old for one complete day up and down very dusty mountain tracks - and he couldn't break it. His dad now dislikes me because he's got to buy one for his nipper as a Christmas present. Only thing I can't comment on is battery charge life - I keep the battery fully charged...

really good build to the bike

really good to ride found it very nice
the motor works with you so you have to peddle all the time but it does help alot with hills
and you get great speed on the flat.

if the battery runs out it still works as a normal bike it may have only 6 gears but still easy to ride around on

done 3 trips so far each one was 12 miles (6 miles each way) to work and back
even with rain and wind it makes the trips easy

the battery did about 30 miles before it need chageing up again and only took around 4hrs
pluging it into the mains is really easy as well no need too take anything off the bike to do it

also the bike comes with front and back lights which is great :) pretty good ones as well
and a bell as well

this bike is abit heavy at 25kgs so if u got few steps it does take abit to lift it...
