New MPE film provides taste-free qualities of polyethylene with the added benefit of extra strength over typical PE films. The "M" in MPE stands for metallocene, a special catalyst used in the manufacture of the PE resin. It forms a PE that is more consistent and even in structure, resulting in greater strength and resiliency, making it ideal for reservoirs. This added durability allows it to handle hot water. It is BPA & PVC free, of course. /// New HydroStaticTM backer plate creates a wider and lower profile. A traditional reservoir barrels out and forms a straight tube when filled, interfering with a pack's ability to fit the body. Work horse bag
I have had this bike for 4 month commuting to work 2 times a week -under the rain many times as I live in Glasgow. The bag is good value for money, completely water proof, easy to detach, easy to load an unload, huge inside, with two helpful inside pockets. The only cons are that: 1) it is a bit too big. I would have gone for the 16 but it was dearer ???. And 2) the bottom bracket unfastens with bumps, but it s just a matter of tighten it up every now and then to prevent it from doing that.

Whenever I see people with more expensive bags, like "Ortlieb" which are three times the price, I cannot understand why did they paid so much to get roughly the same as these Outeredge. Besides, my Outheredge looks cooler than any other waterproof I have seen.

at last, the ideal cycling bag!
I'd almost despaired of finding a robust and well-designed cycling bag for reasonable money. This is a really good quality item, made from high quality materials. I was slightly nervous of the design, after some comments about the manner in which the bag attaches, but all I can say is that it doesn't fall off, which is surely the most important criteria. I've looked at various other products on the market and this appears to represent the best value for money I've been able to find. I don't need another one, but I'm tempted!

Great for running, not for cycling
Nice little bag but I wouldn't say its really suitable for cycling. There's no way you can get anything else in it other than maybe some loose change. Certainly can't get a spare inner tube, and pump in it. Like I say, great for running, when you don't need to carry anything else, but not for biking.

comfortable and easy to use
Bought this for running and I've used it several times for distances of up to 20 miles. I've tried a few other options (normal rucksack, bottle belt) and this is the only thing I've found that works for me.

The pack is comfortable to wear, even when running for 3 hour or more. It doesn't move around, dig in or chaff. Drinking from it is easy and there's a small clip on the strap to hold the tube in place so it doesn't flop around. There's a zip compartment on the outside, enough for a small mobile phone and keys.

I decided to buy and with Amazons great delivery service it was here in 2 or 3 days.
I'm delighted with it,it is "robust" and holds my square framed and somewhat heavy electric bike with ease.
It will get used more than the few days a year because I have found it's so easy to erect I use it to clean the bike.
It folds well and can fit into a small place in the garage.
It's a pity it didn't come with a canvas storage bag.
It's well finished with solid rubber and plastic components. I can't really fault it's performance.
Don't hesitate, buy one, it's great value for money and will do the job for you.
