I ordered my bike on-line and it turned up 2 days later on a carrier. After unpacking it and assembling it (which was quite straight forward) I was a little disappointed to find the rear inner tube had a hole in it. So my first early evening ride was put on hold. I emailed Rutland/Amazon and a replacement was sent out, received, fitted, and rode the very next very next day.
The bike rides well, the Shimano eze-shift gearing are responsive, it goes well on the hills, and top gear is fairly fast, but don't expect to win any races on it.
Overall a top bike, made with quality components, and good service from Rutland.
