We shopped around to get the best price off the internet and researched for days on other track pumps. We were impressed with the build quality, the ease of use and the additional adapters for football / basket ball.

The pressure dial, that reads up to 160psi, is easy to read and a red pointer can be rotated to match where the pressure needle needs to meet when pumping. The valve attachment has a small leaver so that after placing it over the valve the lever locks on securely to the valve, if anyone who suggests otherwise they have not fitted it correctly. (Saw someone refer to this in a review somewhere which is incorrect)

Past experience with latex and butyl tubes revealed that the area between the metal valves and the inner tube connection was prone to tear over time probably due to the movement caused by the hand pump. Not all valves on inner tubes have a screw washer to hold the valve to the wheel rim so this locked fitting over the valves overcomes that...

Less effort than many
Bought this pump a few years ago - works better than my other track pump - far less effort. The base is metal so doesn't flex & seems to be fairly well made.

IMO, all pumps are only as good as their weakest link which is usually the valve head assembly. I'd prefer an in-line one rather than the "T" one here but it seals well on presta valve stems.
