Bought this to replace the crankset on a Ridgeback Velocity. A massive improvement in quality over the original equipment, which I think was Acera (in theory only one step below Alivio), which suffered badly from worn and broken teeth. I also changed the cassette to an HG51 and chain to a Z8S, which has completely tranformed the gearchanges on this bike, which are now better than when the bike was new.
