I recently entered a 92km bicylce race, something i am not used to doing, and it had been recommended that i carry about 3 litres of fluid and some energy bars with me. after searching various sites it seemed that all agreed camelbak provide the best backpacks for this type of thing. i decided on the NV as it was the latest design and i had little experience of anything else, i must say i was impressed as the backpack has pockets for everything including wet weather gear, it's own built in waterproof cover, mp3 pocket as well as a very easy to fill/detach 3 litre pouch. the size is remarkably small considering all it can carry and is very comfortable even with all your kit and 3 litres of fluid. another good thing is that it does not sit right on your back so you do not sweat as much, overall i am impressed, and am yet to find any faults.

The hydration bladder very easy to fill and insert into camelbak, drinking device excellent when riding with no leaks. Probably designed by someone who mountain bikes.
