Exactly as advertised
We bought this as a Christmas gift for our son, who was 2 yrs and 9 months old. He took to it immediately, though he probably won't really use it more until he is a bit older and the weather a bit more cooperative. We worried about the size (this as opposed to the 12 inch model) but we needn't have - it looks very small when assembled but so are toddlers! I have the seat in the lowest position now and there is at least another four inches of adjustment possible as he grows, so I figure it is good for another year or so.

The build is very good, the whole thing is a bit heavy (compared to a scooter) but manageable. One design shortcoming is the kickstand, which we note he strikes with his left foot quite often. You could easily remove it, and this would also save a few ounces of weight.

We had considered one of the wooden models, but I preferred pneumatic tires and proper axles. This is, in my opinion, excellent quality for the price.
