Great for bigheads on a budget
I like this helmet; as a size 8+ I find hats of all kinds difficult to find, but this is a good fit and comes down far enough on the side of the head to provide reassurance. The straps are also well sited, especially at the front where the postiton is further forward than on Giros (another make who cater for large heads). This means the helmet is less likely to come off in a crash. I know whether to wear a helmet is a personal thing, but I can't see a downside, and when you are riding at 30mph anthing that protects you from careless drivers and livestock (I cycle in the New Forest) is a plus.
This helmet is amazing value; it has a useful peak which is not removable. It is not as light as more expensive ones but is comfortable and is wearing well. The catch is a bit stiff to push home but is then very secure. It doesn't look too silly either.
