Saves buying different cycle shoes!
I bought these to fit to my road bike and allow me to wear my MTB cycle shoes as the cleat is the same.
There is only one cleat locking surface as the pedal platform is one sided therefore takes a little time to get used to spinning the pedal around to lock your shoe in while on the move.
Same method as two sided pedals to unlock your foot so no problems there unless you are not used to using SPD pedals (Then that is a different story!).
They also look good on my road bike as have a similar profile to roadie pedals.
