Superb
This 'bak'pack is excellent. It holds 1 litre of water/ sport drink comfortably, and there is plenty of room in the 3 pockets (two at the hips and one on the back) for accessories; hat, gloves, gps/phone, gels, wallet, keys etc. The elastic strap arrangement at the back can be used to securely hold a light fleece or wet weather running jacket. Even with all this on board the pack is light and manageable. I've used the pack for 1/2 marathons, 10K's, adventure races and it has been superb. It fits well to the body, and on those cold morning runs actually keeps the chill off your back and kidneys aswell.
A little tip I'd offer is when the pak is filled with liquid and tightened-up; lay it flat then suck the air from the water bladder. This stops the liquid sloshing around so much, and makes your run quieter.
The straps allow you to adjust it fully to make it a truly, snug, non-slip product. I love it. It feels strange if I do a short run with out it! Almost like driving a car...

Great for endurance running
I came across CamelBak a whole ago when I was looking for a good way to carry lots of water for my long runs. I found a cheap one which was really intended for bicycle use. It worked fine except that it didn't have a waist strap so it bounced a lot when I ran trails.

I stumbled upon this pack and noticed that it had a larger vessle than my previous pack which meant an extra hour of running, and with the waist strap it had I really had my hopes up for a pack more suitable for running.

Bought it, got it home, filled it up with electrolyte enriched water, hit the trails for a 30k run. Had bandaid in one pocket, two snickers bars in another, my iPhone, a gps and paper in another. The cool thing about the design of the backpack is that even though I hauled pretty much anything I could fit in the pockets of it, I didn't feel like it was there.

For me this pack is the best I've ever used. It works great for hydration and even better for carrying extra...
